# Tools reference
> Every tool the Bouncy MCP server offers, the access level it needs, and example prompts
You never need to name a tool. Ask in plain language and your AI app picks the right tools. This page lists them so you know what is possible and what each access level allows.
**Access level** is the lowest level that includes the tool:
* **Viewer:** available on every connection.
* **Creator:** available on Creator and Full Access connections.
* **Full Access:** available on Full Access connections only.
**Type** tells your AI app how careful to be. **Read** tools never change anything. **Write** tools create something new. **Destructive** tools change or remove something that may already be live, so most AI apps ask you to confirm first.
## Account

## Deeplinks

When creating or updating a deeplink, the AI can set everything the Bouncy API supports:
* **Destination URL**
* **Slug:** Bouncy picks one if you leave it out
* **Domain:** `bouncy.ai`, a Bouncy domain such as `tapmy.social`, or one of your verified custom domains, plus a **custom path** on a custom domain
* **SEO title and description**
* **Bounce behavior:** any behavior your plan allows, the same options as the dashboard
* **18+ warning:** on or off
* **Geo rules** (send visitors from chosen countries or cities to another URL), including your saved **geo presets**
* **Language rules**
* **Meta pixel** and **Google tags**
* **Group**
If you are at your plan's active deeplink limit, a new deeplink is still created but starts **inactive**. The AI tells you when this happens. Pause another deeplink or upgrade, then activate it. If you are at your total deeplink limit, creation is refused with the numbers.

## Stats

Referrer and platform values come from your visitors, so Bouncy shortens them and returns them as plain data. See [Security](/mcp/security#prompt-injection).

## Groups

## Domains

DNS changes can take anything from a few minutes to a few hours to spread. If verification fails straight after you add the records, ask again a little later.

## Websites

| `bouncy_update_website` | Makes targeted edits to a website, such as the bio or a link's title or URL. When a website cannot be edited this way, it returns a link to make the change in the editor instead | Creator | Destructive |
A draft is not live. Open the editor link, check the website and publish it yourself.

* "Draft a link-in-bio website for Amy with links to her OnlyFans, Instagram and TikTok, in a dark style."
* "On my website bouncy.ai/amy, change the bio to 'New drops every Friday'."
## Tips for good results
* **Name the deeplink:** include the domain and slug (for example `tapmy.social/amy`) so the AI finds the right one straight away.
* **Check before big changes:** ask "show me what you will change first" before bulk edits, then confirm.
* **Account-wide stats are heavier:** ask for account-wide numbers when you need them, and ask about a single deeplink when that is what you mean.
* **Nothing in billing:** plan changes, payments and team management stay in the dashboard.
